Initially, Ymir was introduced as selfish and nit-picky, and took no care of what others thought of her. Around 785, when seen as a goddess, she had on a white halter dress, accompanied with a red sash tied around her waist.
As a Scout, she wore the same outfit, although her shirt was darker. Her civilian clothes consist of a v-neck, white shirt and dark pants, which she wore during the Female Titan arc, and up until her death. She lived as a thief on the outskirts of Wall Sheena until entering the 104th Training Corps, and graduated and joined the Scout Regiment. Many years later, in 845, she awoke from a deep slumber as a Pure Titan and ate Marcel Galliard, which gave her the abilities of the Jaw Titan. When discovered by Marleyan authorities, the cult was arrested and injected with Titan serum. She was taken in by a mysterious man who proclaimed to a group of Eldians that she was the descendant of royal blood, bestowing upon her the name “Ymir” from the founder of all Eldians, Ymir Fritz. With 1744 stories on A03 and 89/239/426 stories on Wattpad.Ymir was a child from Marley, and was implied to be an orphan.
HisoIllu is the first most written ship on AO3 for both Hisoka and Illumi. This is also because of the off-screen ending of the relationship between Illumi and Hisoka that took place in manga-only chapters. HisoIllu is often chosen above other ships when it comes to the creation of fanfiction and fanart.

It is also likely that, during this arc, Illumi wore his hair slicked back to further match his appearance with Hisoka's. In the Hunter Exam arc Exam arc there is also the addition of short, puffed sleeves to both of their outfits. Their preferred style being pants loose around the hips that match the color of a domed crop top, with a different-colored shirt worn underneath. It can also be of note, coincidentally or otherwise, that the two often wear the same or similar-shaped clothes. Illumi refers to the job as an "engagement ring" and "prenuptial agreement." However, despite the previous, "give-and-take" benefit of their relationship, Illumi always believed that one of them would wind up killing the other, and therefore, when Hisoka's motives changed, decided to form a contract with him with the condition that if the magician was killed, Illumi would receive his reward. And during the 13th Hunter Chairman Election arc when Hisoka assisted Illumi's plans to chase down his brother by disposing of a number of Zoldyck butlers on his behalf. Some instances of this being during the Yorknew City arc when Illumi disguised himself as Hisoka so that the latter could have a chance at fighting Chrollo. They would often assist each other when the other needed. Before the events of the recent manga arc, Hisoka and Illumi were associates, and the closest thing each other had to friends.
